Business Data Analyst – Data Insights & Pipeline Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to partner with business stakeholders and technology teams. You will deliver high‑quality data insights, build scalable data pipelines, and support data‑driven decision making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve data quality issues, including lineage, controls, and source validation.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and preparation for analysis.
• Design and build scalable data pipelines for efficient data movement and processing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, where appropriate.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visual insights using Tableau or Power BI.
• Implement data reliability frameworks and governance controls.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work within Scrum/Kanban environments.
• Mentor team members and lead work allocation.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in data analytics, data warehousing, and business analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Background in retail, investment banking, correspondent banking, or AML transaction monitoring is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
