Business Analyst - Liquidity and Payments

About the role

Barclays is hiring a Business Analyst in Pune for its Global Payment Services area, within the Change team. The role supports the organisation's strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities. It sits under the Assistant Vice President level and involves analysing client requirements, building business cases and supporting change management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyse business problems and client requirements that require change
• Develop business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders so solutions meet their needs
• Support the creation of business cases and feasibility studies
• Support project reports on progress and operational and process designs
• Support change management, including a traceability matrix
• Advise on decision making, contribute to policy development and lead collaborative assignments
• Analyse data from multiple sources, communicate complex information and influence stakeholders

Required profile

• Permanent contract, based in Pune
• Previous experience on projects with Liquidity Management implementations
• Good understanding of customer journeys in Liquidity Management
• Ability to investigate, analyse, visualise and solve complex problems
• Understanding of agile methodology and the agile mindset

Required skills

• Liquidity and Cash Management / Payments experience
• Requirements documentation, configuration management and quality assurance tools
• Jira, Rally and Confluence for capturing requirements in Agile
• Book keeping, core banking, accounting, general ledger, FX transactions and ISO20022 exposure
• Large-scale product implementation with integration of upstream and downstream applications
• Product Owner knowledge and strong transaction banking, liquidity and cash management domain background are valued
