Burger Chef – Full-time Kitchen Position

About the role

The Burger Chef will join The Kook’s kitchen team to prepare and cook our signature smash burgers and related menu items. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Mangaluru and requires delivering consistent quality during busy service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Set up workstations and prep ingredients according to recipe specifications.
• Grill patties, assemble burgers, and ensure portion standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, following food‑safety guidelines.
• Support inventory management by storing ingredients properly and reporting low stock.
• Coordinate with front‑of‑house staff to handle special requests and ensure timely service.
• Assist in menu improvements and contribute ideas for new burger concepts.

Required profile

• Ability to consistently prepare and cook burgers following recipes and presentation standards.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and safe handling of ingredients.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to work efficiently during peak hours.
• Effective teamwork and communication with kitchen and service staff.
