Salad Chef/Cook

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Salad Chef/Cook to join our cloud‑kitchen team in Mangaluru. The successful candidate will prepare fresh, health‑focused salads and related dishes, ensuring each order meets our quality, safety and speed standards.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, cut, and assemble a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, proteins and toppings according to standardized recipes.
• Maintain clean and organized prep stations, ensuring proper storage, rotation and FIFO handling of all produce.
• Follow portion guidelines and plating standards to deliver consistent, visually appealing salads.
• Support rapid order fulfillment for online deliveries, coordinating closely with kitchen and service staff.
• Assist with inventory checks, stock replenishment and suggest improvements for efficiency and product quality.

Required profile

• Foundational culinary skills with emphasis on knife work and cold‑kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and proper handling of fresh ingredients.
• Strong time‑management and organizational abilities to handle multiple orders in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Interest in healthy, diet‑conscious cooking and willingness to learn nutrition principles.
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, café or cloud kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
• Availability for full‑time, on‑site work with flexible shifts, weekends and peak‑hour coverage.
