Brand Manager – Running & Training

About the role

PUMA India is looking for a dynamic Brand Manager to drive the growth of its Running and Training franchises. You will shape brand perception, engage consumers, and build a vibrant community around sport and fitness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of integrated brand campaigns that boost brand aspiration and business growth.
• Own the annual brand marketing calendar, aligning global strategy with local market priorities and commercial moments.
• Conceptualize and deliver large‑scale experiential activations such as events, pop‑ups, retail takeovers, and community initiatives.
• Build and nurture Puma’s on‑ground community through continuous engagement programs, athlete/influencer relationships, and grassroots projects.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, creators, and cultural opportunities to expand brand relevance.
• Conduct deep‑dive business, consumer, and market analysis to generate actionable insights.
• Track performance, evaluate business impact, and translate learnings into future opportunities.
• Manage agency and vendor partners, marketing budgets, negotiations, and cross‑functional stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience, preferably in sports, fitness, or events.
• Proven ability to build brand experiences and community initiatives.
• Strong relationship‑management and insight‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Track record of running influencer programmes and delivering consumer activations end‑to‑end.
• Operationally reliable, accountable to timelines and budgets.
• Excellent communication skills in briefs, decks, and presentations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
