Branch Relationship Manager – Growth (Officer)

About the role

The Branch Relationship Manager – Growth will be responsible for driving volume and revenue by acquiring high‑net‑worth clients and deepening relationships with existing customers across DBS Consumer Banking’s branch network. The role focuses on clients with assets under management of at least INR 1 million and aims to increase product penetration and digital channel adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and upgrade quality clients to the Treasures segment, targeting AUM ≥ INR 1 M.
• Cross‑sell and up‑sell DBS deposits, investments, insurance, mortgages, credit cards and personal loans.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and coordination with service, distribution and product teams.
• Drive activation of e‑Banking, mobile banking, online mutual funds and debit‑card usage.
• Ensure compliance with internal sales processes, AML/KYC, health‑and‑safety and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and achieve monthly and annual volume and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with line manager, city/cluster head and CBG colleagues to meet branch objectives.
• Resolve client queries within agreed turnaround times and support doorstep banking initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in relationship management or client acquisition within consumer banking.
• Strong knowledge of DBS’s product suite and ability to articulate benefits to clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to regulatory and risk compliance.
