Biology Lecturer – Remote Task‑Based Role ($250 per task)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Biology Lecturer to design and solve challenging biology problems that test the limits of large language models. This short‑term contract (3 months) offers $250 per completed task and requires a commitment of up to 40 hours per week with a 4‑hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time.

Key responsibilities

• Design biology problems spanning early undergraduate to PhD‑level topics.
• Develop step‑by‑step solutions with rigorous reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.
• Contribute to new evaluation benchmarks based on biology curricula.
• Explain concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, or simulations.
• Provide detailed annotations and constructive feedback for AI evaluation workflows.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field (or currently pursuing a PhD/Postdoctoral degree).
• Strong research, analytical, and logical problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
