Billing Specialist – AR & O2C (Walk‑in Hiring)

About the role

The Billing Specialist will handle end‑to‑end invoicing for residential and commercial customers in the regulated electric and gas utilities market. Working on the SAP billing platform, you will ensure invoices are generated accurately, on time, and in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve transactional and customer billing queries generated from systems and the Exceptions Management Framework.
• Validate accuracy of standard and complex products during daily bill audit, focusing on detail and quality.
• Analyze and correct failed transactions, billing or invoicing errors.
• Create, review, edit, and validate billing documents for completeness.
• Submit invoices to customers according to defined specifications and meet SLA/KPI targets.
• Escalate unresolved issues to leads or supervisors promptly.
• Research, calculate and apply adjustments to issue corrected invoices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer‑facing problem‑solving or issue‑resolution roles, preferably in BPS/BPO/DPO environments.
• Experience with SAP or CRM systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with limited supervision.
