Backend Engineer (Go) – AI Security Platform

About the role

Join a fast‑growing engineering team building a next‑generation AI security platform for a global enterprise cybersecurity company. You will work on high‑scale Go services that protect AI agents, LLM‑powered applications and the data they access, in a remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate production Go services with high performance, reliability and multi‑tenancy.
• Define APIs and data models, ensuring idempotency, retries and back‑pressure.
• Build event‑driven pipelines and integrations with cloud providers, internal systems or AI/agent frameworks.
• Own service reliability through testing, observability, CI/CD and production readiness.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, security researchers and product teams on threat models and enforcement logic.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional backend engineering experience, with at least 2 years building production services in Go.
• Strong understanding of Go concurrency, networking and performance profiling.
• Experience designing gRPC and REST APIs, using protobuf and event‑driven systems such as Kafka.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote‑first environment.
