Backend Developer (SDE I) – Node.js & Database Focus

About the role

Snapmint is seeking a Backend Developer (SDE I) to join a tight‑knit product team. You will work closely with product managers and fellow engineers to deliver innovative web solutions for corporate and client microsites, as well as integrate with data and marketing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support new and ongoing digital projects, including microsites and platform integrations.
• Drive automation initiatives and ensure automated test scripts are created for new features.
• Analyze problems, propose solutions, and contribute to system architecture design.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable web applications.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of professional experience with Node.js and strong JavaScript knowledge.
• 1‑3 years of experience using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with users, technical teams, and senior leadership.
• Experience designing and developing system architecture, single‑page and progressive web applications.
• Familiarity with test‑driven development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management skills.
