Backend Developer (Node.js) – 3-5 Years Experience

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 3‑5 years of experience in Node.js and Express.js to join our fast‑growing technology team in Gurgaon. You will design, build, and maintain robust backend services that power our financial services platform, collaborating closely with product, front‑end, and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable, maintainable APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design database schemas and interact with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Implement RESTful APIs and micro‑services architecture.
• Optimize performance, implement caching, and ensure high availability.
• Write clean, well‑documented, testable code and conduct code reviews.
• Write unit and integration tests, support deployment, and monitor production systems.
• Apply security best practices, including authentication and authorization.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Proficiency with Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful API design.
• Hands‑on experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
