Azure Infrastructure Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Consultant to lead the migration of on‑premises workloads to Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on VM migration, lift‑and‑shift strategies, and ensuring a secure, high‑performance cloud environment for our global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute end‑to‑end migration of on‑premises virtual machines to Azure.
• Perform lift‑and‑shift (rehost) migrations using Azure Migrate.
• Assess current infrastructure and provide migration strategies and recommendations.
• Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines, storage, and networking components.
• Implement replication and disaster recovery with Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
• Design and configure virtual networks, NSGs, load balancers, and secure connectivity (Site‑to‑Site VPN, ExpressRoute).
• Validate migrations, conduct performance tuning, and monitor workloads using Azure monitoring tools.
• Implement backup and recovery solutions and troubleshoot migration‑related issues.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure a smooth transition.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, primarily Azure.
• Proven track record of large‑scale VM migration or lift‑and‑shift projects.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, AZ‑305) are strongly preferred.

• Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Azure ExpressRoute, Site‑to‑Site VPN.
• Azure networking components: Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers.
• Azure monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics.
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions on Azure.
• PowerShell and/or Azure CLI scripting.
• Migration of Windows and Linux servers.
