Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development, QA and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure and cost‑effective Azure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates or Bicep.
• Manage and monitor Azure cloud environments for reliability, scalability and security.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline release processes.
• Apply DevSecOps best practices, including security scanning and compliance checks.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure and application issues and optimise cloud costs.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts).
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Proficiency in Git, GitHub and GitLab.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana or Prometheus.
• Understanding of cloud security, networking and identity management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and holding Azure certifications (AZ‑104, AZ‑400 or AZ‑305).
