Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and support the delivery of containerised applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate deployments and ensure reliable, secure releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Deploy, manage and monitor containerised applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement GitOps practices with ArgoCD for automated deployments.
• Create and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes application releases.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
• Manage source code repositories and version control using Git and GitHub.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure and application issues.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Hands‑on expertise in Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience creating and managing Helm charts.
• Knowledge of ArgoCD and GitOps deployment strategies.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and implementation.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Understanding of containerisation technologies, preferably Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor).
• Awareness of security best practices in DevOps environments.
