Ayurveda Pharmacist & Accounts

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Chennai combines Ayurvedic pharmacy expertise with basic accounting duties. You will work closely with practitioners to ensure safe preparation and dispensing of herbal medicines while maintaining accurate financial records for the clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and label Ayurvedic medicines according to established formulations and regulatory standards.
• Maintain inventory, storage conditions, and documentation for all herbal products.
• Counsel patients on proper usage, dosage, and potential interactions of Ayurvedic medications.
• Handle billing, record daily financial transactions, and maintain ledgers.
• Reconcile accounts, assist with basic financial reporting, and ensure compliance with clinic policies.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Formal certification or diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of herbal formulations, dosage calculations, and safe dispensing practices.
• Experience with basic accounting tasks such as billing, bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage both medical and financial records accurately.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, practitioners, and staff.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Chennai and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
