AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are a fast‑growing technology firm focused on cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation. Our teams build next‑gen CI/CD pipelines, auto‑healing systems and cloud‑native observability stacks that enable engineering groups across India to ship code faster, scale reliably and stay secure on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform and AWS CDK while ensuring cost‑efficiency, high availability and security compliance.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline) to automate build, test and deployment workflows for microservices and containerised applications.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices across teams, delivering version‑controlled, reproducible and auditable environments.
• Configure and manage container orchestration (EKS, ECS, Fargate) and serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway) for event‑driven workloads.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise AWS resources using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana and CloudTrail to reduce MTTR and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with developers and SREs to define SLOs, automate alerting and conduct blameless post‑mortems for production incidents.

Required profile

• Proven experience with AWS services and cloud‑native tooling.
• Hands‑on expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation and CI/CD pipeline construction.
• Strong background in container orchestration (EKS/ECS/Fargate) and serverless (Lambda, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks such as CloudWatch, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Commitment to an engineering culture that values automation, peer reviews and blameless post‑mortems.
