About the role
We are seeking a results‑driven Assistant Vice President to lead client acquisition and relationship management across NBFCs, MFIs, lending partners and broker channels. The role will expand our Insurance Broking and Insurance Technology business by targeting large and mid‑sized accounts for Group Credit Life and related solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new clients across NBFC, MFI, lending institutions and broker networks.
- Promote and sell Group Credit Life Insurance, Insurance Tech and B2C solutions.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to drive revenue through new business, upselling and cross‑selling.
- Oversee end‑to‑end client relationship management, including onboarding, renewals, profitability and long‑term growth.
- Collaborate with Product, Technology, Marketing, Operations, Legal and Finance teams for seamless delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competition and emerging opportunities in Group Life, Credit Life and Insurance Technology.
- Drive topline growth, margin optimization and overall P&L performance of client accounts.
- Lead and mentor senior sales teams to achieve revenue targets.
Required profile
- 8–15 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales or Partnerships within Insurance, Insurance Tech, NBFC, MFI or Financial Services.
- Strong expertise in Group Credit Life Insurance (mandatory).
- Proven track record managing enterprise or institutional clients and engaging senior decision‑makers.
- Experience in P&L ownership, team leadership and revenue responsibility.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
