Avionics Verification Engineer

About the role

The Avionics Verification Engineer will ensure safety‑critical real‑time embedded software for Airbus Helicopters meets the stringent DO‑178B/C standards. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to validate and verify software throughout its lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and validate high‑level requirements and unit‑level software modules.
• Conduct integration testing for software‑software and software‑hardware interfaces.
• Analyze issues discovered during test campaigns or in‑service usage.
• Lead and mentor testing team members.
• Drive certification audits within the verification scope.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with requirements‑based testing, unit and integration testing in both host and target environments.
• Familiarity with software configuration management and design reviews.
• Knowledge of DO‑178 standards and RTOS concepts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to learn quickly.
