Automation Developer (UiPath)

About the role

IFF is hiring an Automation Developer for its Digital Technology Solutions team in Hyderabad, India, on a hybrid basis (3 days per week). The role involves designing and developing applications and systems, performing business and software analysis, coordinating projects and carrying out system maintenance. It focuses on building scalable, maintainable UiPath solutions and applying generative AI to automation scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to find automation opportunities and design UiPath solutions using REFramework and best practices.
• Develop and deploy end-to-end automation workflows, including custom activities, reusable components and integrations with ServiceNow and enterprise platforms.
• Apply generative AI (LLMs, JenAI) to scenarios such as intelligent document processing and conversational workflows.
• Ensure secure credential management, compliance with security standards and optimized performance.
• Run unit, integration and acceptance tests, enforce coding standards and implement error handling, logging and alerting.
• Maintain documentation (PDDs, SDDs, test plans, deployment guides) and use Git for version control.
• Monitor deployed automations, provide hypercare support and collaborate with IT and business teams.
• Follow the Automation Delivery Playbook for quality and governance after go-live.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics or a related field.
• UiPath Advanced/Professional Developer certification (mandatory).
• 1-3 years of hands-on RPA experience in complex environments.
• Proven record of delivering 20+ production-grade automations.
• Experience with API integration, data transformation, secure credential management and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle Fusion).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows, Snowflake and Intelligent Automation tools (Document Understanding, AI Center).
• Knowledge of Generative AI concepts and ability to apply LLMs and JenAI.
• Excellent communication skills and clear documentation.
