Audit Manager – IT & Security

About the role

Mastercard’s Global Internal Audit team is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead IT, security and operational audits across business lines. Based in Pune, you will provide senior management with insight into governance, risk management and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT, security and operational audits, assessing risks and defining audit scope.
• Identify control gaps, recommend process improvements and evaluate compliance with legal, regulatory and policy requirements.
• Prepare and present clear, value‑added audit findings and reports to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with management to develop action plans and monitor their implementation.
• Provide risk and control advice, champion strong governance and support the three‑lines‑of‑defense model.
• Conduct risk assessments and business monitoring activities.
• Work with colleagues locally and globally, and deputise for the Director in key audit meetings.

Required profile

• Strong ability to quickly understand and critically analyze complex IT processes.
• Proven experience in internal or external IT audit, or related operations within a large global organization.
• Excellent problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Effective communication skills to influence senior management and drive corrective actions.
