Assurance Executive – Assurance Services

About the role

EY is seeking an Assurance Executive to support operational, financial, process and systems assurance activities for its clients in Mumbai. The role involves reviewing and appraising client activities, controls and systems while delivering clear assurance recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify accounting and assurance issues and coordinate with the Assurance in‑charge to resolve them.
• Perform substantive testing of transactions according to the assurance plan and document all work performed.
• Identify improvements to control systems and procedures and present assurance reports to management.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts, reconcile receivables and payables, and assist in finalising accounts.
• Support senior staff in reviewing financial statements and preparing assurance, management comment and representation letters.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0‑1 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of assurance and accounting standards.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, work under ambiguity and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Team‑player with a proactive, result‑oriented attitude.
