Associate Manager – Transportation Planner

About the role

The Associate Manager – Transportation Planner will own the TCT scheduling process, planning, organizing and optimizing shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of fleets and warehouses. The role analyses data, applies TCT transportation planning models and works closely with carriers, warehouses and customers to keep shipments on track.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and optimize shipment schedules, balancing cost, transit time, fleet productivity and service level agreements.
• Assign carriers to shipments according to PepsiCo policies, contracts, the Route Guide and capacity availability.
• Make schedule adjustments as needed to maintain feasible and practical shipment plans.
• Publish the final shipment “Trip Build” according to agreed cut‑off times.
• Collaborate with warehouses, carriers and customers to align on pick‑up and delivery requirements.
• Ensure compliance with TCT scheduling processes and promote technology adoption.

Required profile

• Engineering or Business university degree from a Tier 1 institute.
• 2–5 years of experience in transportation planning or a related logistics function.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with scheduling data.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or other logistics software.
