Product Manager, Inventory & Orders

About the role

FourKites is building a next‑generation Inventory & Orders module that gives supply‑chain teams real‑time visibility into stock, in‑transit inventory, open orders and stock‑out risk. As a Product Manager I you will own day‑to‑day execution, turning customer discovery into prioritized backlogs and shipping features that enable proactive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Author detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and specifications for features such as safety‑stock thresholds, order‑at‑risk dashboards and AI‑assisted stock transfer recommendations.
• Conduct structured discovery sessions with planners, procurement leads and operations teams, synthesising feedback into problem statements and product hypotheses.
• Define integration requirements for ERP, WMS and demand‑planning data flows via flat‑file SFTP, APIs and EDI, and work with Solutions Engineering to validate feasibility.
• Partner with engineering, design, Solutions Engineering and Customer Success throughout the feature lifecycle, and support pre‑sales activities with clear product guidance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in product management, supply‑chain operations, procurement or demand planning.
• Strong understanding of inventory and procurement workflows, including safety‑stock parameters, days‑of‑supply calculations and order fulfillment processes.
• Proven ability to write clear, structured product specifications and acceptance criteria that engineering can execute without ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex customer conversations into concise product requirements.
