Associate Manager, HR

About the role

QIAGEN is seeking an Associate Manager, HR to act as the primary HR partner for employees in India. You will collaborate with line managers and team members, providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations, talent development, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted business partner, advising managers on HR matters, policy interpretation, and statutory procedures.
• Deliver operational excellence across employee relations, engagement, recruitment, compensation & benefits, onboarding, performance management, and retention.
• Support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication, performance monitoring, and review processes.
• Assess talent needs, work with Training & Development to implement succession planning and talent management strategies.
• Administer HR office functions, including onboarding, leave management, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, from job posting to offer and onboarding.
• Oversee employee health and insurance benefits, handling annual reviews and renewals.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with QIAGEN and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or similar role, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to influence managers and employees.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously and drive continuous improvement.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, and employee relations.
• Experience with HR administration tools and payroll systems.
• Capability to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
