Associate – Internal Audit (Risk Consulting)

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to join its Internal Audit practice in Gurgaon. You will work on risk consulting engagements, helping clients design, implement and improve internal audit, SOX 404, risk and control frameworks across financial services and banking sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning activities for Internal Audit, SOX 404, risk & controls and compliance engagements.
• Collaborate with clients to assess current governance, risk and compliance processes.
• Assist in designing and implementing new risk and control frameworks, sustainable solutions and operating models.
• Support transformation initiatives such as IA function set‑up, co‑sourcing, outsourcing and managed services.

Required profile

• Experience in financial services or banking.
• Background in internal audit or related risk and control functions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of internal audit methodologies.
• Familiarity with SOX 404 compliance.
• Understanding of governance, risk and compliance tools.
