Associate GenAI & Agentic AI Engineer

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate who will design and implement autonomous AI agents using cutting‑edge frameworks such as LangChain, Crew.ai, SK and Autogen. The role focuses on building Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, ensuring safe and reliable agent performance, and contributing to the firm’s intelligent automation practice.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy autonomous agents with LangChain, Crew.ai, SK, Autogen and related tools.
• Develop and optimise RAG pipelines for accurate information retrieval and response generation.
• Create evaluation frameworks to test agent performance, safety and hallucination mitigation.
• Implement monitoring, logging and documentation for agent behaviour.
• Collaborate on improving agent architecture and capabilities across PwC advisory projects.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of professional experience in AI/ML or data engineering.
• Experience working on PAN‑India PwC locations or similar large‑scale consulting environments.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on safety and reliability of AI systems.

Required skills

• Advanced Python programming, including asynchronous development.
• Hands‑on experience with LangChain, Crew.ai, SK, Autogen frameworks.
• Proficiency in building Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their APIs.
• Understanding of AI safety principles and techniques to resolve hallucinations.
