Associate Engineer – Flight Physics Capabilities

About the role

Airbus India is looking for an Associate Engineer to contribute to the development of Flight Physics methods and tools. You will translate capability needs into specifications, design and validate solutions, and ensure they integrate with multidisciplinary projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business context, design and document Flight Physics solutions, and present them to stakeholders.
• Develop, test and validate Flight Physics methods and software tools.
• Ensure alignment of software development processes, methodology, and toolchains.
• Conduct feasibility studies in complex, heterogeneous project environments.
• Collaborate within cross‑functional teams, fostering a strong team spirit.

Required profile

• Analytical and creative mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience with GUI development and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with behavioural modelling, simulation, and requirements specifications.
• Strong background in geometric modelling, analytical geometry and linear algebra.
• Fast learner, able to work autonomously and fluent in English.
