Associate Director, Veeva Platform Engineering Lead

About the role

Join a global biopharma leader as the Associate Director, Veeva Platform Engineering Lead. Based in Hyderabad, you will drive engineering execution across the enterprise Veeva Platform ecosystem, working in a hybrid model with at least three days onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of platform priorities, backlog commitments and roadmap initiatives across multiple Veeva Vault domains.
• Translate platform engineering strategy into executable plans in partnership with Center of Efficiency and Center of Strategy leadership.
• Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of integration engineers, Veeva specialists, quality engineers, business analysts, release managers and AI engineers.
• Drive adoption of reusable engineering standards, integration patterns, release practices and configuration best practices.
• Lead platform security initiatives such as MFA enablement, OAuth adoption and remediation of technical debt.

Required profile

• 10+ years of enterprise software delivery experience with 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Deep expertise in Veeva Vault architecture, multiple Vault domains (Quality, Clinical, Regulatory, Safety, Medical) and GxP‑regulated environments.
• Proven ability to deliver enterprise integrations using Veeva APIs, MuleSoft, event‑driven and API‑led connectivity.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global matrixed organizations.
