Associate – Cost Optimization in Automotive Advisory

About the role

Pwc is seeking an Associate to join its Automotive Advisory practice in Pune. The role focuses on cost optimisation and operational efficiency for automotive clients, delivering tangible transformation outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client needs and develop operational strategies to improve productivity.
• Design and implement cost‑optimisation solutions tailored to automotive businesses.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams and manage delivery of measurable value.
• Provide guidance and support to senior stakeholders, including CXO‑level presentations.
• Travel extensively (70‑80% of the month) to client sites.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation abilities with experience engaging senior executives.
• High analytical capability and proven delivery of tangible project outcomes.
• Demonstrated integrity, commercial instincts and business acumen.
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to a dynamic consulting environment.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Proficiency in MS Word.
• Expertise in MS PowerPoint.
