Associate Analyst – KPI Monitoring & Analytics

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a motivated Associate Analyst to join the KPI Monitoring Team within the Non‑API Integrations group of Open Finance. You will proactively monitor critical business and operational KPIs, investigate alerts, and support incident management in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor applications, platforms, services and key business KPIs using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace, and detect anomalies or performance degradation.
• Investigate alerts and incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate with engineering, product and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, visualisations and reports in Tableau, Snowflake and Excel, delivering daily, weekly and monthly operational insights.
• Create and automate Splunk searches, alerts and dashboards, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives for monitoring processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
• Experience working in a 24×7 rotational shift model, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL querying and data analysis.
• Splunk log analysis, SPL dashboard development and alert configuration.
• Tableau dashboard creation and reporting.
• Snowflake data investigation.
• Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Dynatrace application monitoring.
• Incident management and escalation processes.
