Assistant/Deputy Manager – Customer Project Manager

About the role

Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead new product development projects for original equipment (OE) customers. The role combines entrepreneurial drive with rigorous project management to deliver innovative brake system solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define project charter, schedule, budget and KPI targets.
• Manage project risks, costs, and profitability.
• Ensure customer sample quality, on‑time delivery and specification compliance.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Maintain all project documentation and conduct lessons‑learned reviews.
• Facilitate stakeholder management and change requests from customers.
• Support acquisition phase activities and coordinate approvals for Bosch‑requested changes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (B.E.) with 5‑7 years of experience in project or key‑account management within the automotive sector.
• Proven track record handling OEM customers and delivering complex automotive projects.
• Strong commercial aptitude, analytical mindset and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Positive, go‑getter attitude with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
