Assistant/Deputy Manager – Claims (Travel & OPD)

About the role

The Assistant/Deputy Manager – Claims will coordinate with service‑provider partners to ensure timely settlement of Travel and OPD claims. The role involves conducting regular medical and technical audits of approved claims and maintaining accurate MIS and reporting dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Submit periodic and ad‑hoc claims reports accurately and on time.
• Develop Excel shortcuts, formulas, and alternative tools to streamline reporting.
• Perform cursory and sanity checks before report submission.
• Close audit observations and ensure compliance with SLA‑defined TAT.
• Train partner claim processors on policy terms, time management, and delegation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and validate claim data.
• Maintain and update MIS, data sets, and dashboards for monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews.

Required profile

• Experience in claims coordination, medical or technical audit processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
• Proactive approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
