Assistant Vice President, Employee Relations, Human Resource Group

About the role

The Assistant Vice President, Employee Relations will partner with business leaders to shape and execute people strategies that drive engagement, performance and talent development across the function. This senior HR advisor will lead employee experience initiatives, manage key HR metrics and ensure consistent application of policies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all HR matters, providing guidance on people management solutions.
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics such as attrition, performance, compensation and talent pipelines, recommending corrective actions.
• Lead performance management processes, including PIP administration and continuous feedback mechanisms.
• Oversee year‑end compensation processes and support budgeting for compensation.
• Drive employee engagement programs, manage surveys, and translate feedback into action plans.
• Handle employee relations cases, grievances and investigations, integrating them into the broader ER framework.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Rewards, Talent Acquisition, OD, HRSS) to align initiatives.
• Champion change management efforts to prepare employees for transformation.

Required profile

• 5‑9 years of experience in an HR generalist or business partner role.
• Hands‑on experience in core HR domains such as performance, compensation, talent management and employee relations.
• MBA in Human Resources or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to think structurally, solve problems and influence without formal authority.
