Assistant Training Manager

About the role

The Assistant Training Manager supports the organization’s learning strategy by designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that align with the company’s mission and vision. Working closely with property leadership, the role ensures employees receive the knowledge and skills needed to drive business results.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and promote employee training programs across product knowledge, company philosophy, customer service, and leadership.
• Conduct needs assessments, design curriculum, and develop training materials.
• Facilitate both custom and corporate training sessions, using effective adult‑learning methods.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance, and participant progress; gather feedback and performance data.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, measure ROI, and report on learning transfer to operations.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to identify performance gaps and create targeted development plans.
• Maintain training budgets and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field, plus 2 years of HR or related experience, **or** a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with a certified trainer credential (no experience required).
• Strong understanding of adult‑learning principles and training program development.
