Assistant Security Executive – Aviation

About the role

The Assistant Security Executive – Aviation will oversee access control, property protection, and security operations for both on‑shore and offshore aviation facilities. The role ensures the safety of personnel, assets, and information while maintaining situational awareness of maritime and aerial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage access control for men, material, information, and vehicles in designated zones and offshore areas.
• Log and verify incoming/outgoing vessels, ships, and material transitions.
• Protect information repositories, IT hardware, and record rooms.
• Identify and secure critical infrastructure such as control rooms, berths, and SPM.
• Monitor traffic violations and respond to alarms from the Security Control Room or Port Operation Centre.
• Conduct daily briefings for shift supervisors and guards, and validate system effectiveness.
• Handle deviations from standard procedures and ensure availability of security infrastructure.

Required profile

• Graduate or Army Graduate with NCC "B" certificate (or equivalent).
• 10–20 years of service in Armed Forces, Paramilitary, or Police.
• Experience in security functions, preferably 0–3 years in a maritime or aviation environment.
• Knowledge of security automation, marine security, and relevant legal frameworks.

Required skills

• Security automation system operation (GSOC/SOC console).
• Topographical and layout knowledge of the site.
• Small‑arms handling and possession of a weapon license (desirable).
• Ability to observe incidents, react promptly, and maintain situational awareness.
