About the role
The Assistant Sales Manager – Hospitality will lead B2B sales of premium fitness and wellness equipment to hotels, resorts, spas and wellness retreats across Southern India. You will use your industry network to secure high‑value contracts, deliver compelling presentations and build long‑term partnerships in the fast‑growing hospitality sector.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads by leveraging existing hospitality contacts and attending industry events.
- Conduct site visits, needs assessments and prepare customized proposals for equipment installations.
- Deliver polished, English‑fluent presentations and live demos to decision‑makers.
- Negotiate and close deals, manage key accounts and ensure contract compliance.
- Onboard clients, coordinate installations and maintenance, and monitor service level agreements.
- Maintain CRM records, track win rates and report on hospitality revenue contribution.
- Monitor market trends such as wellness tourism and collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns.
- Support senior sales executives, train junior staff on hospitality‑specific selling and networking etiquette.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or MBA in Sales, Hospitality Management or Business.
- 4‑6 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years selling to hotels or resorts.
- Established network of contacts with general managers, project heads or purchase managers in Southern India’s hospitality industry.
- Professional appearance and ability to engage C‑suite hospitality leaders.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Experience using CRM tools.
- Basic knowledge of fitness and wellness equipment.
