Postcard Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Assistant Resort Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations across a luxury resort. The role is ideal for a high‑energy hospitality professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and can deliver highly personalised guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day operations of the resort, ensuring seamless functioning across all departments.
• Deliver an exceptional, highly personalised luxury guest experience.
• Lead, coach, and motivate multi‑functional teams to consistently meet high service standards.
• Be hands‑on and visible, proactively identifying and resolving operational issues.
• Coordinate across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Guest Experience, Recreation, Spa, and other functions.
• Build a culture of ownership, accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor guest feedback, operational performance, service standards, and commercial outcomes.
• Take charge during challenges with calm, decisive leadership.
• Develop strong relationships with guests, teams, local communities, and destination partners.
• Create authentic guest experiences rooted in the resort’s natural surroundings and destination.

Required profile

• Demonstrated high agency – takes ownership and acts without waiting for instructions.
• Energetic, proactive, with a strong bias for action.
• Hands‑on, visible, comfortable making independent decisions.
• Thrives in dynamic, entrepreneurial resort environments.
• Strong people leader with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Mandatory luxury hospitality experience, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort or boutique resort.
• Understanding of luxury service and guest experience.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑functional teams.
• Strong operational, interpersonal, and commercial acumen.
• Genuine love for nature, the outdoors, and destination‑led hospitality (highly desirable).
