Assistant Professor – Pharmaceutics

About the role

Apeejay Stya University seeks a motivated Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutics to join its faculty. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding research, and contributing to academic administration.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Pharmaceutics as per the university curriculum.
• Design and implement innovative teaching methods, linking industry problems to classroom learning.
• Monitor student attendance, progress, and assessments; prepare grading reports.
• Stay updated with current research trends and integrate findings into teaching.
• Organize laboratory experiments, study materials, and internship opportunities.
• Advise students on career options and assist with recruitment activities.
• Conduct and publish research in the field of Pharmaceutics.
• Prepare and submit budget plans and academic reports as required.
• Support the Dean in academic and administrative tasks, including event organization.
• Supervise laboratory sessions, internships, and ongoing research projects.
• Implement updated curriculum guidelines to maintain high academic standards.
• Utilize Moodle and other e‑learning tools for course delivery.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology suitable for teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in a university or recognized higher‑education institution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage with current industry trends and incorporate them into coursework.
