About the role
Sri Balaji University in Pune is seeking a motivated academic to join its Economics department as an Assistant Professor. The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate economics courses, guiding student research, and contributing to the university’s scholarly output.
Key responsibilities
- Teach and develop economics curricula for various programmes.
- Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable journals.
- Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and academic committees.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of economic theory and practice.
Required profile
- B.A. and M.A. in Economics.
- UGC NET, MH SET, or Ph.D. qualification as per UGC norms.
- 2–3 years of teaching experience at university or college level.
- Evidence of published research in recognised journals.
- Strong academic record and demonstrated teaching aptitude.
