Assistant Professor – Education (B.Ed., M.Ed., Ph.D.)

About the role

MIT School of Education and Research (MIT SOER) at MIT ADT University is looking for an Assistant Professor to strengthen its teacher‑education programmes. The successful candidate will combine deep disciplinary knowledge with innovative pedagogical practice, supporting the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 and NCTE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and conduct seminars for B.Ed., M.Ed., and Ph.D. programmes.
• Supervise dissertation projects and mentor graduate students.
• Participate in curriculum design, programme review and departmental committees.
• Maintain an active research agenda and publish in recognised journals.

Required profile

• Dual post‑graduation: Master’s in a core subject (Science, Arts or Commerce) and an M.Ed. or M.A. in Education.
• Cleared NET/SET in Education.
• Ph.D. in Education (mandatory).
• Strong record of publications in Scopus‑indexed, Web of Science or UGC‑Care listed journals.
• Prior teaching experience in a teacher‑education institution is highly preferred.

• Proficiency with digital learning tools and modern teaching methodologies.
