Assistant Production Manager - Furniture

About the role

The Monarch Enterprises is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to support day‑to‑day operations in its furniture manufacturing unit. You will work closely with senior management to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop‑floor activities and manage manpower, productivity, and quality.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve daily and monthly targets.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, QC and Project teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Supervise CNC, carpentry, fabrication, furniture and finishing processes.
• Ensure accurate execution of production drawings and control material wastage.
• Implement 5S, safety, quality and continuous improvement practices.
• Prepare daily production reports and resolve shop‑floor issues promptly.

Required profile

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in furniture or interior manufacturing.
• Strong shop‑floor and manpower management capabilities.
• Good knowledge of production planning and technical drawing interpretation.
