Assistant Manager / Senior Officer – Stores Management & Dispatch

About the role

The position is responsible for organizing and executing outbound logistics operations at Bosch's Bidadi plant. It ensures timely collection and dispatch of finished goods to customers and warehouses while maintaining compliance with internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure window time adherence for dispatches to customers and warehouses.
• Manage storage of finished‑goods materials, report and act on blocked stock.
• Monitor logistics quality incidents and drive year‑over‑year improvements.
• Optimize processes and improve productivity in outbound logistics.
• Escalate and resolve material delivery issues according to the escalation matrix.
• Organize logistics competency training and develop employee capabilities.
• Manage commercial processes to stay compliant with internal guidelines, foreign trade, customs and taxation laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Production Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in outbound logistics and stores management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP modules: Warehouse, Production Planning, Material Management, Sales Distribution, Logistics Execution.
• Experience with InTrack, RBIN gate‑pass system and Power BI reporting.
• Knowledge of GST, taxation, export guidelines, safety regulations, CL management and insurance.
• Strong understanding of material flow control, warehouse management systems, storage & handling norms.
• Familiarity with LMM, BPS, Warehouse KPIs, inventory management, JIT, Lean Manufacturing and space planning.
• Competence in transportation management and warehouse productivity improvement.
