Assistant Manager - Sales

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Sales will support the sales team in generating and managing opportunities, ensuring smooth hand‑over to service delivery and building long‑term, value‑based customer relationships. This full‑time position focuses on achieving personal and location revenue targets within the hospitality district.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers through sales calls, events, FAM trips and trade shows.
• Coordinate with off‑property sales channels to avoid duplication and maximize coverage.
• Participate in sales calls, prepare proposals, draft contracts and manage customer correspondence.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and economic factors to identify new business opportunities.
• Support the event management team with accurate turnover information.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and increase account share.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field plus 2 years of sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with no experience required.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Understanding of market dynamics and target customer expectations.
