Assistant Manager - Sales

About the role

BookMyShow’s sales team expands revenue beyond ticketing through partnerships with banks, fintechs and payment networks. As an Assistant Manager – Sales you will own the end‑to‑end BFSI alliance portfolio, negotiating deals, launching co‑brand cards and driving payment‑linked offers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of BFSI partners including banks, NBFCs, Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, fintechs and rewards platforms.
• Identify, negotiate and close new strategic alliances that increase payment conversion, unlock revenue or create differentiated user experiences.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of long‑cycle partnership opportunities, handling complex commercial terms and deep product/tech integrations.
• Develop co‑created products, exclusive user programmes and monetisable loyalty constructs; oversee ongoing co‑brand card performance and optimisation.
• Own end‑to‑end execution of payment‑linked offers – card discounts, cashback and redemptions – across all payment instruments.
• Track offer performance, monitor redemptions, revenue impact and partner ROI; reconcile with payment partners and coordinate with finance, product and tech teams.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in alliances, partnerships or business development, preferably with online merchants, fintechs, banks or payment networks.
• Proven track record of independently closing partnerships with P&L accountability.
• Experience with co‑brand credit cards, loyalty programmes or payment product structuring is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable navigating long sales cycles and multi‑stakeholder deal environments.
• Strong commercial acumen to build business cases, structure deal economics and evaluate ROI.
• High ownership mindset and willingness to resolve issues beyond regular hours to ensure campaign launch.

• Advanced Excel (large datasets, VLOOKUP/INDEX‑MATCH, pivot tables, scenario modelling, reconciliation workflows).
