Assistant Manager – Sales (Construction Equipment)

About the role

L&T Construction and Mining Machinery is seeking an Assistant Manager – Sales to lead end‑to‑end sales activities for its Construction Equipment Business in Pune. You will act as the primary contact for customers, providing pre‑ and after‑sales support for LTCEL and Komatsu product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential sales leads in the designated region.
• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with customers, understanding and interpreting their requirements.
• Present product solutions that meet quality, price, and delivery expectations.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions to satisfy both client and company needs.
• Coordinate with dealer sales engineers to finalize deals and provide product support.
• Capture machine performance data and customer testimonials regularly.
• Achieve quarterly equipment sales targets and ensure all sales, service, parts, and training activities are completed for key accounts.

Required profile

• B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–12 years of experience selling construction equipment such as excavators, compactors, and loaders.
• Strong ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Hindi, and regional language.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of construction and mining equipment products (excavators, compactors, loaders).
• Familiarity with LTCEL and Komatsu product portfolios.
