Assistant Manager - Risk Containment Unit

About the role

The Risk Containment Unit at Bajaj Finance is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead investigations into payment‑related disputes and fraud alerts. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to protect the integrity of card and wallet transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate disputes and alerts received from FRM or Customer Service channels, analysing the modus operandi.
• Develop and contribute to specialized FRM rules based on case investigations.
• Liaise with sponsor banks of payers/payees to reverse fraudulent transactions and block compromised accounts.
• Coordinate with the legal team and field RCU team to address legal complaints and reversals.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in fraud risk, specifically with cards and payment products.
• Experience with a leading digital wallet provider is preferred.
• Familiarity with FRM tools used by NPCI, VISA and Mastercard.
• Willingness to travel to different locations for investigations and actions.
