Assistant Manager – Relationship Management

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support Barclays' Relationship Management function in Gurugram, driving business growth through effective client engagement and operational excellence. You will work on backend processes such as KYC refresh, transaction monitoring, and pricing, while leading training and quality initiatives for the team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational processes including Annual Review, KYC Refresh, Pricing & Billing, Transaction Monitoring and Payments.
• Lead training, mentorship and quality checks to ensure high standards across the team.
• Prepare reports, presentations and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation and workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience in a multinational bank or financial services organisation handling backend/operational processes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines and collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Knowledge of Salesforce and other digital tools for corporate banking.
• Understanding of KYC, transaction monitoring and workflow management.
