Assistant Manager – Quality (CNS Rubber & Polymet)

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assistant Manager to join the CNS Global Quality Development team at Metso. Based in Alwar, Rajasthan, you will support the Rubber and Polymet business units by developing and implementing quality assurance and control processes across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality standards, procedures and related documentation for new and existing products.
• Create harmonised quality plans and drive their deployment across plants.
• Lead or contribute to problem‑solving meetings addressing internal and external quality issues.
• Introduce new processes, automation, digitalisation, data‑collection systems and tools.
• Conduct improvement projects focused on quality, cost reduction, productivity and process capability.
• Collaborate with management to set performance expectations for critical manufacturing processes and monitor results.
• Provide training and support to local and global teams on quality specifications, global procedures and quality tools.
• Perform global quality audits and manage root‑cause investigations.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in quality assurance or quality control within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to develop and harmonise quality processes across multiple sites.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross‑functional and international teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10 % of the time.
