Assistant Manager – Project Management Office (PMO)

About the role

AB InBev India is seeking an Assistant Manager for its PMO within the Supply team in Bangalore. The role focuses on governing project management, CAPEX processes, and construction quality to support the company’s extensive portfolio of iconic brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SMS implementation and drive continuous improvement across the department.
• Own and manage Management, Quality, and Functional pillars to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
• Oversee MCRS governance, performance reviews, reporting, and gap analysis with zone, functional, and plant teams.
• Manage KPI frameworks, target setting, cascading objectives, and departmental performance tracking.
• Govern CAPEX projects through defined standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain project documentation systems, including registers, records, and process updates.
• Drive project quality management, supplier management, shop inspections, welding quality oversight, and defect resolution.
• Build organizational capability by developing project management competencies across the department.
• Provide project leadership and execution support for CAPEX projects to ensure delivery of scope, quality, schedule, and business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management and CAPEX processes.
• Familiarity with construction quality assurance and supplier management.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive governance initiatives.
