Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting will support the existing Finance & Accounting team in ensuring smooth financial operations across the data centre and network business units. You will be involved in month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end processes, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in quarterly and annual account closing activities.
• Execute monthly PMS activities, load data into Hyperion and GPMS for both DCB and Network companies.
• Prepare performance and board notes on a quarterly basis.
• Support timely completion of Tax Audit, TAR, and ROI for Data Centre & Network entities.
• Reconcile GST credit, share GST details with corporate IDT, and ensure accurate GST entries.
• Prepare basic financial statements and perform GL scrutiny for review.
• Monitor bill cycles, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and compile data for analysis.
• Generate MIS statements and perform end‑to‑end capex reconciliation.
• Produce cost‑centre and profit‑centre reports, and conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual, period‑over‑period).

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in the Data Centre or IT/services industry.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Working knowledge of accounting systems and listed‑company audit processes.
• Effective communication skills, self‑starter attitude, and ability to support cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of indirect and direct taxation is a plus.
